Situated on the upper North western slopes of Mount Lebanon, ranging in altitude from 1200m to 2000m. The area of Horsh Ehden is about 1000 ha of public land. A unique isolated assemblage of conifers, deciduous and evergreen broadleaf trees.
A world class Biosphere Reserve where natural and cultural heritage are conserved, resources are treated as wealth, investment receives due care, and development is controlled by citizens, businesses, and the managing authority.
